Fed by mulberry leaves,
the silkworm belongs to the insect of complete
metamorphosis, with the scientific name for
BOMBYXMORI, and belongs to LEDIDOPTERS. Each
generation goes through four stages, egg,
worm, chrysalis and moth. After the last
molting, the silkworm starts to generate
silk strings and to cocoon. People reel from
cocoon, weave it into fabric, refine, print
and dye it ,and finally use it to produce
the exquisite and elegant silk garments.
